RoboFi x Bit.com — AMA Summary

RoboFi is excited to close January with great news for RoboFi and the VICS holder community. On January 28th, 2022, at 09:00 AM UTC, the VICS token was officially listed on Bit.com, a one-stop portal offering a wide range of digital-asset financial services.

Below are a recap of the questions and answers from the AMA session

Host: Thank you for joining us Donna, can you introduce yourself to our users?

Donna Lee: Sure! Hello, everyone, Thank you for your time today. We are very happy to be here. My name is Donna. I am here also with my team. Personally, I have been in the financial software industry for over 8 years and have worked on marketing for a B2B trading software for the client such as investment banks, hedge funds, and prop trading firms. Since 2017, I have engaged in crypto trading and crypto staking wallet business, and now I am here to spread how awesome the RoboFi project is :)

Host: Good to know you have a solid background on financial software. So can you give us a brief intro on RoboFi?

Donna Lee: Happy to share :) RoboFi (www.robofi.io) is a DeFi platform that envisions a marketplace for revolutionary Dao crypto trading bots. With the effective use of blockchain technology, #RoboFi seeks to bring consensus between bot creators and users in an ecosystem that encourages mutual financial growth and innovation. Over the last 12 months, we identified the lack of a platform that allows bot creators to share their bots easily to their potential users. Our goal is to allow bot creators to sell and raise funds for their bots easily, as well as for our users to have a platform that provides bots with reliable performance and security. Therefore, we started development on a project that supports the trustless interactions between bot creators and users. Users will be able to store their bot tokens in our non-custody wallet as well as harvest their bot tokens to enjoy the yield earned by the bots. Some of the innovations in this project includes the introduction of the IBO (Initial Bot Offering) process and harvesting of rewards earned by bots while holding the bot tokens

Host: Which project RoboFi will see as a competitor in this market? What is the uniqueness that makes RoboFi stand out from the crowd?

Donna Lee: RoboFi Ecosystem is the first DeFi to have bots with DAO principle, in which, we support each Bot to do IBO (Intial Bot Offering) and produce the bot tokens of itself. There are different tokens inside RoboFi , which are RoboFi VICS token, and bot tokens. All of these tokens can be stored in RoboFi Wallet.

VICS is the main token, used as a “must” for Bots to participate into the RoboFi Ecosystem and do the IBO. Each bot has 2 types of bot tokens: Governance-bot-token (G-) and Certificate-bot-token (C-). Via IBO, bots can raise fund from community to do its trading. Users can stake crypto assets into bots and get Certificate-bot-token. Users can also buy Governance-bot-token to gain governance power (via voting) to bot. Both types of bot tokens (G- or C-) can help users to earn rewards from bot trading activities. We haven’t seen any other DeFi project that can have same features.

Host: Thanks for telling us how unique RoboFi is. But given that the current crypto market looks like the beginning of a long winter, does it affect RoboFi’s plan for mass adoption?

Donna Lee: Well…When retails’ sentiment is down, of course it could impact on whole crypto market. However, RoboFi is long-term project and we would like to grow organically. Therefore, it won’t change anything of our plan.

Host: When speaking about DeFi platforms there is a perception of great risk, as they are commonly hacked, but how is RoboFi prepared or what strategies does it plan to implement to mitigate or fully address these security issues that are present in the DeFi space?

Donna Lee: We are aware of those issues and security is our number priority. We will work with audit firm like certik to verify the security of our blockchain protocol. And we will work with custodian to ensure the security of the crypto assets!

Host: Is RoboFi designed for professional users only? Can small traders also benefit from using your products? Many projects are built just to market tokens and add no value to the crypto world. Can you talk about the main benefits RoboFi will provide to the DeFi industry and users?

Donna Lee: There are many issues in financial trading world

RoboFi’s mission is to bring DAO crypto trading bots to everyone. Our main goal is to provide institution grade trading softwares to all retails users. Anybody can use RoboFi products and benefit from it.

Host: Can you share some major achievements done by RoboFi? What is the future roadmap and target in 2022?

Donna Lee: Our project launched 6 months so far. And so many things happened! We raised 11.2 M USD funds from private investors and grew up to 20k community supporters. IDO launches. We have created our testnet (https://testnet.robofi.io/) and about to launch the mainnet very soon.

This is just beginning and there are a lot more to come in 2022. In 2022, our main target is to grow our tvl together with retail users but also with institutional users.

Host: NFT is popular nowadays, is there a plan for NFT integration?

Donna Lee: Yes definitely. We are planning to launch RoboFi NFT which holds bunch of utilities. Stay tunned guys. :)

Host: RoboFi NFT will come!!!! What are the prospects for RoboFi development towards a full-scale DAO and is it taken into account?

Donna Lee: Decentralization is the beauty of the blockchain. And DAO is the way to be decentralized. RoboFi wanted to launch platform that is truly transparent, powered by blockchain technology. So we used DAO concept and make our bots became the DAO.

Host: How can we maximize profits and reduce the risk in trading using RoboFi Trading Bot?

Donna Lee: Using crypto trading bots are one of the way to maximize your profits and reduce the risk. Bots went through performance tests so only profitable. :)

Host: IF THE BEAR MARKET COMES will your token PROBABLY DUMP? Do you have any plan to prepared for this bear market? How will you handle the panic sell ?

Donna Lee: Usually token dump happens a lot when there are many short term holders. I believe majority of token holders for VICS are long-term holders. We will keep launching campaign to make sure buying sentiment is there and should we see big dump, we will implement buy back program to maintain the stable price

Host: Regarding about the current market situation is too unstable, holding back investors.. So can you give me some good reasons why I should buy your tokens in this market situation? And also why should your token holder keep holding?

Donna Lee: In financial world, you have to remember high risk high reward. The people who were very profitable was not those whom bought on bull market. You have to see what’s the real value in the project and buy the dip :) For RoboFi, there are a lot more to come and we just started, so I am sure all our retail investors will be benefited from holding our token.
